PRIVACY POLICY

• Account details: email address, username, and optionally an avatar and location.
• Build data you enter: vehicles, specs, build log entries, photos, parts and costs.
• Community activity: votes, comments, questions and answers.
• Purchase records: what you bought, when, and the amount. Card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us.
• Technical data: server logs, and the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your theme. We don’t use advertising cookies.

Build pages are public by default: anyone can see them, and search engines can index them. You can make any car private. Part costs are visible only to the car’s owner unless you choose to publish them. Your email address is never shown publicly.

We use it to run the service and the features you ask for (build pages, build sheets, ad copy, the video tour), to process purchases, to send account and security emails, to answer support requests, and to prevent spam and abuse. We don’t sell your personal information.

We share data only with service providers that run parts of the service on our behalf, and only what each one needs to do its job:

• Website hosting, database and file storage.
• Account sign-in and email delivery.
• Payment processing.
• Spam and bot protection.
• Form handling for our pre-release sign-up form.
• AI writing, voice and video-rendering services that create the video tour, using the build data and photos for the car you make it for.

These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us, not for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

When you transfer a car, its build history, photos and Pro status move to the new owner. Part costs are removed unless you choose to include them.

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete a car it is removed from the site; we may keep it for a limited time to recover from mistakes or for backups. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

You can edit or delete your content at any time. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account, email support@buildtoshow.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.

Build To Show isn’t intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.

If we change this policy in a material way, we’ll notify account holders by email or on the site before the change takes effect.
