TERMS OF SERVICE

Build To Show (buildtoshow.com) is operated by Digital Static LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, making a purchase or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to make a purchase.

Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your password secure, and don’t share your account. You’re responsible for activity on it. Tell us at support@buildtoshow.com if you think it has been accessed without your permission.

You own the photos, text and build data you add. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and reproduce that content to run the service, including on your public build page, share images, QR codes, build sheets, placards and exports you create. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies others have already shared or that remain in routine backups for a limited time. Only post content you have the right to post.

Don’t post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else’s rights. Don’t spam, manipulate votes, scrape the service, or try to get around its security or rate limits. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Build To Show is free to use. We also sell optional digital upgrades:

• Pro is a one-time payment that unlocks Pro features for one car. It does not expire, it is not a subscription, and it stays with the car if the car is transferred to a new owner.
• Shop packs are a one-time payment for a set number of Pro credits. Each credit unlocks Pro on one car. Credits don’t expire and can’t be exchanged for cash.

Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay and include any fees we charge. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Purchases are delivered to your account immediately after payment. Refunds, cancellations and disputes are covered by our Refund, Cancellation & Dispute Policy.

We don’t currently run any promotions, discount codes or contests. If we offer one in the future, its specific terms (eligibility, dates and limits) will be posted with the offer and will apply alongside these terms.

An owner can transfer a car to another person with a single-use link. When the recipient accepts, the car, its build history, photos and any Pro unlock move to their account. Part costs are removed unless the sender chooses to include them.

Some features, such as ad copy and the Build Movie video tour, generate text, narration or video automatically from your build data. Generated content can contain mistakes. Review it before you use it, and you’re responsible for listings and posts you publish elsewhere.

Calculators, community opinions and part suggestions are for information only. Verify fitment, compatibility, legality and safety with a qualified professional before you buy or install anything.

Some links to parts retailers may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Any paid partner placement will be clearly labelled.

You may not use the service or make purchases if you are located in a country subject to US embargoes, or if you are on a US government list of restricted or sanctioned parties. You agree to comply with all laws that apply to your use of the service.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Static LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time by emailing support@buildtoshow.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as your content licence for already-shared material, disclaimers and limitation of liability) survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we’ll notify account holders by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
